Justin Grammens

Justin lives at the intersection of emerging technology and leading communities on the Internet of Things. He is a co-founder of Lab 651, where he helps companies use sensors and intelligence to build smart, connected products. He is the owner of IoT Weekly, a free curated newsletter with industry expert perspectives on the Internet of Things, a co-founder of IoT Fuse, a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission to position Minnesota as a leader on the Internet of Things and an adjunct professor at the University of Saint Thomas teaching a graduate level course on the Internet of Things.

A proven leader and builder of technology, Grammens was named one of the 2016 (Real) Power 50 by Minnesota Business, featured on Power Moves, speaks at countless technology conferences, co-launched Minnesota’s first Internet of Things Hack Day where inventors compete to build the best Internet enabled products in 12 hours and is a mentor to students of all ages through CoderDojo Twin Cities and Macalester College's MacStartups program.

Patrick Delaney

Patrick is an engineer and social-startup entrepreneur, having founded Forest Restorations in 2004, the world’s first company fully-dedicated to the elimination of buckthorn and invasive species, and The Solar Ninja in 2010, a solar-powered mobile phone charger and blindingly bright wide-spread LED light in one convenient package.

Delaney has also co-founded several IoT Startups and companies, including @chickenscoopAI, @termiplatform, Workflows.ML, Canister.ML, and has served as an Entrepreneur in Residence leading the Internet of Things Initiative at the United Health Group Startup Garage.  His professional career spans from manufacturing to component sales to optical and electronic engineering to server and front end software design.  His best language is MATLAB.

Delaney helped found SVL.MN and is the founder of @iotmpls, the Midwest’s largest Internet of Things monthly meetup user group.  @iotmpls merged with Justin Grammen's Arduino.MN in 2015 to become IoT Fuse.  Delaney has co-run a successful Kickstarter for over $30k, won awards from the USPTO/Inventors Hall of Fame as well as Daimler-Chrysler, has been a finalist and semi-finalist in the MN Cup three times, and was the winner of the UMN CSE’s Alumni Society Award for Graduating Class of 2008.

Daniel Feldman

Daniel Feldman is a senior software engineer developing new storage products at Veritas Technologies. Mr. Feldman has years of experience building industrial-strength software in demanding, competitive environments. Daniel is also a proud CS PhD program dropout, a published cryptography researcher, a hobbyist hardware hacker, and a frequent speaker at regional tech meetups and conferences.

Jason Barnett

Known as an Innovator, Leader, and Disruptor, Jason Barnett – Founder and CEO of Flarean takes pride in founding companies that will change the world and improve people’s lives. His background in the arts, technology, media and social organizing along with his expertise in forging new paths and opportunities have previously lead to the founding of TheUpTake.org, a nonprofit online video news gathering and broadcasting organization. His passion for finding and building new concepts lead him to the world of connected devices and his work with IoT Fuse.
